For some reason, maybe the way the plants seem to be reaching upward, I recalled the "To the Moon Guy" back on Reddit. Haven't checked /r/bitcoin in forever, but that moon battle cry used to be a thing.

Anyway, it was a nice pause this morning, a quiet, still morning look at the moon. I need more of these types of moments.

Had few tests with @Alby WP plugin yesterday, here are a few problems that I found:

In the wallet setting, it failed to connect with Alby account with password; if connected with BTCpay

One really cool thing is that it would open an LN wallet once you clicked the ( failed-to-load) QR code, but that led to another problem - my testing phone has an enut APP, and it would redirect to open in this wallet, then failed to pay.

My answer:

I think a song that I hold dear to my heart is “This is Me” from the movie, “The Greatest Snowman”. It’s a great song of accepting oneself and ignoring the naysayers, which reminds me to stay strong. In fact, I like this song so much that I once got my entire Primary 3 class to perform it on stage during Children’s Day celebrations. I wanted them to form an indelible memory with this song so that they would be inspired by it to push through challenges in the future.

My setup: I connected with LN address with Blink for receiving and Nostr Wallet Connect for sending.

I think the desired balance is a bit silly - the withdraw logic should be if I have more than 50k, then I would like to withdraw the 50k, not the tiny sats above 50k? so it keeps withdrawing the dust atm, quite funny. 😂

I'm not sure how things will work later, but now I just keep some sats in the internal wallet without needing to deal with the slowness or failed zaps, but then desired balance made sense here.

was playing around with Alby WP plugin and getfresh last night, so much fun that I slept so late and kept thinking about the future - maybe it will be about learning and creating, and then receiving small sat rains from different sources instead of big chuck of fixed payment yet with many obligations? 👀

Getfresh is quite interesting btw, but I haven't really think of any user cases for subscriptions in sats yet ( only saw it in SN ) and it seems would be even trickier when it comes to the pricing?
